Broadcast Engineer

Part-Time Temporary

Reports To: – KJZZ/KBAQ Chief Engineer

The Broadcast Engineer assists the Chief Engineer and Assistant Engineer with routine technical troubleshooting of broadcast related equipment including audio consoles, audio routing switchers, computer based audio editing and automation systems, remote broadcast equipment, and technical equipment associated with a 24 X 7 major broadcast facility.  This is primarily a technical support position in the studio though some broadcast R.F work may be involved .  Occasional after-hours work will be required on a pre-determined basis.

SBE 2013 Certification Schedule

Certification exam dates and deadlines

Looking ahead in 2013 there are four opportunities to take a certification exam in your area with the local chapter.

Exams will also be given on Tuesday, April 9th in Las Vegas, Nev. during the NAB Convention.

If you would like to take an exam in 2013 but are not able to make it during these sessions, please contact Megan Clappe to ask about special proctoring.
